Hardik Pandya is the most prominent cricket player of India and famous for his aggressive style of batting and bowling. He played exceptional many times for the Indian team and proved himself an icon of talent who can create problems for any opposition in the game. He made several records in the domestic cricket and international cricket as well.

Hardik Pandya was born on October 11, 1993. He introduced himself in the International cricket as an all-rounder who bats with right hand and bowls right-arm fast. In the domestic cricket of India, he served with his talent to the team named Baroda and he shows his skills from the side of Mumbai Indian in the Indian Premier League (IPL). His elder brother named Krunal Pandya is also a cricket player in the international team of India.

Early Years of his Life

Hardik Pandya was born in small city of Gujarat named Surat. The father of Pandya is Himanshu Pandya who holds the small car finance business in his parent village but he left that village when age of Pandya was just 5. The father of Pandya wanted to train his both sons for the cricket so he left his village and moved to Vadodara to increase the training facilities of his sons. He registered his both sons Hardik and Krunal in the major cricket academy of Vadodara named Kiran more’s cricket academy. The family of Pandya was financially weak and they lived in the rented apartment which was present in the residential area of Gorwa. His father had three heart attacks in that age and could not manage the three times meal for his children so in these days players said that tough time of Pandya made him tough to handle in the field and aggressive in style.

His elder brother had a second-hand car which was used to travel from home to the cricket academy by Krunal and Hardik. Hardik studied till 9th grade in the MK High School and then he dropped from the school and started to focus on his cricket game. Hardik performance in the junior cricket matches was steady and according to his brother Hardik won several matches in the junior cricket matches single-handedly and in the club cricket, his performance was also excellent as he performed and won the matches for his team. Once Hardik revealed that he was dropped from many matches in his early age groups team due to the attitude problem he also said that he was the expressive child he doesn’t want to put his emotions behind the bars. Hardik was a leg-spinner in his early career but he became fast bowler by following the instructions of his Baroda Coach named Sanath Kumar. He got his early training in the Kiran more’s academy where he became an excellent batsman and he also polished his bowling skills there. The height of Pandya is five feet and 8 inches.

Domestic Career of Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya started his domestic cricket career when he joined the Baroda cricket team in 2013 and he is still playing that team in the domestic tournaments. In the season 2013-14 of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, he played exceptional in that trophy and played a prestigious role in from the side of his team which helped his team to win that season. In the Indian Premier League during the year 2015, he played for Mumbai Indian and made rapid 21 runs from just 8 balls and also took three important catches which helps Mumbai Indian team to win the match against Chennai Super Kings. In that match, he was awarded the Player of the match award. In that season after the first qualifier against Chennai Super Kings, he was called by Sachin Tendulkar and Sachin ensured him that he will play for the Indian Cricket team in the next 18 months.

After that within the time period of one year, he was selected in the squad of Indian cricket team for the Asia cup of 2016 and also selected in the ICC T20 World Cup 2016. In the later season of Indian Premier League,, he played a worthy inning for his team Mumbai Indians as he made 61 runs from only 31 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders and that match was the must-win situation for Mumbai Indian for remaining in the top four teams for further proceedings. He awarded with the second player of the match award in his IPL career. He was also earned the Yes Bank Maximum sixes Award in that match. In the month of January 2016, he made 86 runs with eight slammed sixes for his domestic team named Baroda cricket team against the Vidarbha Cricket team in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. In the recent season of IPL, he was retained by Mumbai Indians team at the worth of 8 crores due to his extra talent in the T20 matches. He was also a prominent bowler in his Mumbai Indians team and made several good performances in the IPL matches.

International Career of Hardik Pandya

On 27 January 2016 Pandya made his T20 debut against the team of Australia at the age of 22 where he picked two wickets and his first wicket was Chris Lynn. He played his second match of T20 against the team of Sri Lanka at Ranchi where he made 27 runs on 14 balls and he was near to becomes the victim of Thisara Perera Hat-trick. He played Asia cup of 2016 and where he smashed 31 runs on 18 balls and helped Indian team to set a respectable target against the team of Bangladesh. In his next match against Pakistan, he picked three wickets by giving only eight runs and restricted the Pakistan cricket team on just 83 runs. In 2016 T20 World Cup Pandya took two crucial wickets in the death over for India and helps Indian team to win by only one run. On July 8, 2016, he achieved his bowling best figure against England in the final match as 4 for 38 runs and he made 33 runs on 14 balls and hit the winning six to Jordan. Hardik Pandya holds the record of taking four wickets and made above than 30 runs in the T20 match in the Indian Cricket history.

At Dharamshala on October 16, 2016, Pandya made his ODI debut against the team of New Zealand and he got player of the match award in his debut match. He holds the record of fourth Indian to become a player of the match on debut match. He scored 36 runs on 32 balls in his first ODI match. In ICC Champion trophy 2017 he hit three sixes in the group match to a Pakistani bowler named Imad Wasim. In the final of ICC champion trophy, he made 76 runs on 43 balls in a losing cause when Indian first order collapsed on 54/5. He broke the Adam Gilchrist record by making fifty on just 32 balls in a 50 overs ICC event in that final at Oval against Pakistan.

In late 2016, Hardik Pandya was selected in the Test match squad as a batsman against the England team. Unfortunately, he got injured in the practice session at the PCA stadium. He played his first test against the team of Sri Lanka on 26 July 2017 in the stadium of Galle. In that series against Sri Lanka, he made his maiden century in the test career and set the record of making a century before the lunch session. He also set the record of most runs in a single over in the test match as he made 26 runs in an over against Sri Lanka in the final test match. That century at the stadium of Pallekele was his first century in his International career.

Love Life of Hardik Pandya

It is the start of his career and also the start of his love affairs. He is in the relationship with the Lisha Sharma which is the Indian famous model. Many girls want the title of Hardik’s girlfriend after his thrilling entry in the International cricket. The relationship of Pandya with Lisha Sharma started when she congratulated him on twitter for the excellent performance against Bangladesh in the T20 world cup. The famous all-rounder of India is just in the starting of his career and life so marriage is not in the cards of Pandya. People made several assumptions on the relationship of Pandya with Lisha Sharma but who knows the inner reality that whether he marry her or not. It is too early to say that Pandya will marry her.
